IntroductionFor my second project I did the women's rights movement because I think it is still a very relevant in this day and age women have been fighting for this right for nearly 170 years it started with the right to vote, then it was equal rights, and now it is the right to get an abortion. Some girls don't really understand what women before them went through to give girls the right to become a lawyer, an astronaut, or even the president. So with my project I tried to show how far women have come with equal rights.

History and English
I put my english and my history together to make a presentation on this amazing site called Sway. I created a time line that showed some of the really important dates in the women's rights movement and then I explained why I thought those dates were important, so the people could see how I interoperated the whole women's rights movement. When you click button below that says sway that will lead you to the site where you can see my sway.
Art
For my art portion I recreated one of my favorite posters from the marches that I watched. This one really spoke to me because it says I am tired of holding this sign since July 19, 1848 and it is saying that the women holding this sign has been fighting to be equal with men for 170 years and she is fed up with it. I made all of the words black and then I made the date colorful because I really wanted to draw attention to the date, so that more people would pay attention to the fact that the women in this day and age are fed up with men taking all of their jobs, earning more money than them, and treating them like they are not equals or they are objects.
