Inside My mind:
For my 4th project I learned about the 7 Deadly Sins and the 12 main Greek Gods. I took the Greek Gods and analyzed which sin each of the god has showed in their myths and stories. This project was an inspiration form Mr. Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson book series. Reading the Percy Jackson series I've always ended up looking into some Greek mythology, that was used in the books. Before I knew what I was going to do for my project, I knew it was going to be on Greek Mythology.

Art
For my Art portion, I made recipes to smoothies to the 7 Deadly Sins. The first 6 were made to represent the color and to help influence the taste. The last recipe was made to represent sloth.

Artist Statement:
For my 6th project, I focused on the 7 Deadly Sins. The thinking skill I choose for this project is synthesis. This is one of the projects I decided to combine my Apollo project with my Drawing and Painting, because then I could go in a different path, but still do my work, and connect everything to make it more understandable. I decided to make a recipie for each of the sins. All of the ingredients are either for flavor or color. For Sloth I wanted to go more abstract. I made the recipe to describe sloth more than to represent the color (light blue).

History And ELA
I combined most of my History and ELA portion, in a mind map, explaining how the Greek Gods impersonate an American celebrity.
History:
I did a mind map comparing celebrities to the Greek Gods
English:
I took the 7 Deadly Sins, and found the flaws in the Greek Gods (using the 7 Deadly sins), and wrote a Greek myth using celebrities.

Greek Myth
If you lie once, you will have to lie more and more to keep your secret
Characters:
Zeus: James (based off of Hank Azaria)
Both Hank Azaria and Zeus are men that are headstrong when it comes to right and wrong. They also like to be "the boss" and not have to worry about being told what to do.
Hera: Belle (based off of Beyonce)
Beyonce and Hera are very committed and faithful. They both could very easily get angered if things aren’t the way they want it to be.
Apollo: Arthur (based off of Jesse Mccartney)
Both Apollo and Jesse Mccartney love music, and have a talent in healing. They both could be angered when they are being corrected, or being told something they don't like.
Io: Clara
I changed Io’s to fit into the story more, and not feel like it's out of place.
Myth
Once upon a time, long long ago…there was a place where magic was real. The god of production, James, was finished with the scene shots that the crew had to do, meaning that they could have the day off. James and his wife Belle worked together all their life. Today Belle, had to work until later, since she was in charge of costumes for another product that was going on. James decided to go for a walk while he waited for Belle. He went to the park that was close by and was walking on the trail when he met Clara, a beautiful woman, who was jogging by. The minute he saw her, he fell in love.
James called Clara over and asked her for her name, as they were talking he saw Belle walking over to them. Not knowing exactly what to do, he turned Clara into a bouquet of roses. Belle saw the roses and realized that James did know she had seen Clara, she asked for the bouquet. James knew that if he said no to her, she would become suspicious, giving him no choice but to turn the bouquet over. When they walked back home, Belle put the bouquet in a room with a lock and key. She tucked it way and made sure that nothing would ever happen to it.
James felt bad about the situation he had put Clara in, so he asked his son Arthur to bring the bouquet out of the room. Arthur knew that his mom Belle had the key and always kept it with her on a necklace she always wore. When he saw it, he knew the only way he would ever get it was to distract his mom. And that was what he did as he hugged her the next morning. When he wrapped his arms around her that morning, he took off the necklace that she had on and told her that the clasp broke, and he wanted to fix it for her. When Belle realized what actually happened, Arthur had already brought out the banquet, and left it outside, so it started to wither. Looking at the banquet, Belle could see Clara’s life force dwindling down. Realizing that Clara has suffered enough, Belle turned Clara back into a human, but left her in Egypt.
